UrAmerica Limited – 21% owned by URU

On 21 April 2008, Niger Uranium announced that the company had acquired an initial 20.89% holding in UrAmerica plc, a junior uranium mining company engaged in the identification, acquisition and exploration of high-quality assets in Latin America, particularly Argentina, Columbia and Paraguay. UrAmerica has a strong Latin American management and technical team with more than 20 years’ experience in uranium exploration throughout the region.

Quality Assets

Argentina
 Own exploration permits (“cateos”) in Chabut and Salta provinces covering a surface of approx 270,000 ha in areas of with proven uranium anomalies and existing uranium mines (Cerro Solo in Chabut and Don Otto in Salta). Advanced Uranium Exploration Phase II.B has recently been finalised in Salta to determine the drilling targets, with the objective to drill in 1st Q 2009.

Paraguay
13 claims in Chabut, covering a surface of approx 900,000 ha in the Parana Basin, East Paraguay. The area contains known U mineralisation, proven by CUE Capital and Wild Horse.

Colombia
Filed for 60,000 ha with uranium potential in Santandar province.

Achievements to date

• UrAmerica positioned as a leading player in the region with high-quality and diversified portfolio of assets.
• Assembled superior and dynamic management and that include technical support from Niger Uranium (ex UraMin Inc.).
• Less expenditure vs peers to achieve similar result.
• Uranium Exploration Phase I both in Salts and Chabut basins in Argentina have been completed: Positive identification of hosted uranium formation through hyperspectral survey.
• Uranium Exploration Phase II.a in Salta and Chubut basins have been completed through geochemistry and radiometric field surveys. Positive confirmation of uranium anomalies in most of the 22 permits. In Salta, Clastic facies with presence of uranium have been identified in Yacoraite Formation. In Chabut different stratigraphic targets with uranium presence in the Chabut Group have been identified.
• Uranium Exploration Phase II.b in Salta has been finalised. Positive U anomalies with outstanding values are confirmed through systematic geochemistry, sampling (chip, stream, trenching), radiometric field survey.
• Acquired 85% of the mining rights of Globe Uranium Argentina’s 90,000 ha in the Tonco Amblayo and Cerro Tin Tin Zones in the Salta basin. Globe Uranium confirmed U presence through extensive trenching programs.
• UrAmerica is already the #1 market player in the U known Salta Basin.
